9/5/21 Thoughts while wrestling with sleep at 4am
It is God Who leads and helps a person to do the right thing. With all the gifts and abilities designed into a person by God, the application of how to use them is chosen by the person. The only thing that makes the application of the actions, thoughts and intentions of a person righteous is the reason for their use. That use can only be for the glory of God. Any other use is unrighteousness. Those actions may be good, have merit or be correct, but if not for the glory of God, it is a theft of It. The use of the God created image called “man” for the glorification and gratification of the image rather than the actual, God. Can this be called idolatry? Absolutely! This is the reason those rightly chosen acts, without the intention to glorify God, ring hollow and without lasting joy. In fact, the act, whatever the intended “rightness” was, does not endure. It fails. It leaves no lasting mark, no real satisfaction. It is empty and ultimately ends in death. It does not please or fix anything unless God is the initiator. You see, the only thing “the image” can create is death. It is God Who created life. It was an unrighteous act by the first created man that ended in death. Only thing that would change that is a righteous act by a righteous man. This righteous man was non-existent because of the unrighteous choice of the first. Enter Jesus Christ. One with the Father, of the Father and in the Father. Before all things were made Jesus was. Part of the Triune Godhead, The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Christ left life and living to enter into the death of the image. Not to DIE! But to LIVE!! To REDEEM!! A righteous act for the glory of The Father! Recovering the lost creation, the loved possession of the Father and presenting it back to Him unblemished and unbroken....in the fullness of the glory for which it was created. The only way that can happen is Christ in you (John 17). For it is He Who does nothing without The Father (John 5:19). An act of worship, in spirit and truth. It is the Process of Christ, obedience learned through suffering. The Light, removed from its lampstand, planted in the darkness of the womb, bursting forth into the travesty of living without life. Man without God. A True Light in the darkness. The Illumination. Blind now seeing. Lame now walking. The Righteous condemned by the unrighteous. Put to death yet living again! Life triumphs over death! RESURRECTION!! Ascending from whence He descended. Seating again at the “Right” hand of the Father. To perform one more righteous act. The Holy Spirit! Sent, as He was into the woman, now the Holy Spirit sent to live in all who would believe. Sent to live in the creation once again to glorify the Father and the Son. No longer the supposed glory or the self-defined righteousness of man, but the infilling of the glory of God, the life of the Process of Christ and the Holy Spirit rightfully dwelling in the creation as it was designed to. The fullness of the glory of God. His Love. Manifest to be seen today and forever. “For God so loved the world.....”
