The Fall of Humanity was a failure in discipleship

God’s Word is true, best and to be obeyed.

Spiritual Adam did not properly disciple his own “flesh” nor that of Eve.

Adam and Eve are that picture of the “flesh (her) of my flesh (himself) and bone of my bone”, both of which must be discipled.

Adam missed it with her and failed in his role as “head”, “leader”, “discipler” and every other thing that is under the God ordained role that Adam was designed to operate in. Eve therefore made a bad decision and Adam, (still failing), was not able to guide her into all truth and obedience which resulted in the fall and loss of God’s perfect plan for humanity.

All that to say, God’s Word is true, best and to be obeyed. Adam set us up for failure by not discipling himself. I’m not sure what that looked like for him then, but I know what it looks like for us now. We have God’s written word. A testimony of His nature, will and plan. We have salvation and redemption from that failure by and in Jesus Christ. Because of what Jesus does for us, God has sent His Holy Spirit of eternal life to once again inhabit the created human that turns to Him. There is no excuse to turn any direction except to believe and obey the very Creator of all things and be raised from the dead and live as disciples, using the very Word of God, the resurrection power of Christ and the testimony of His Holy Spirit alive in us. Once alive, using that discipled (and still discipling) life; preaching, teaching and modeling that living life of obedience and truth of God’s Word in front of others (discipling).

Ephesians 5:14-17 (KJV) 14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. 15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord [is].

Matthew 28:18-20 (AMP) 18 Jesus came up and said to them, “All authority (all power of absolute rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually--regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.”
