“He who is God, can no more be not God, than he who is not God can be God;” John Owen
No man thinks himself to be God. Though he may say it and demand the glory and worship from his peers, deep in his heart he knows that he is not God. He has not the power to change the color of his hair, or to restore a broken limb without some kind of physical manipulation. He who would say that he is God knows that he is a liar. Jesus Christ, however, knew that He was God. It is impossible that He could not know it. Being God, He knows all things, is Lord and Creator of all things and He cannot lie. Why would He? He is God.
Matthew 5:34-36 (KJV) 34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: 35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. 36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.
John 14:10-11 (KJV) 10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the doeth the works. 11 Believe me that I [am] in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
John 4:24-26 (KJV) 24 God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth. 25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. 26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am [he].
