Psalms 131: 1-3 It’s All You Lord

LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me. 2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul [is] even as a weaned child. 3 Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.

LORD, my heart is not haughty: I do not think myself more than another, I do not expect to have more or be more than anyone else. I do not expect from others. I do not deserve anything.

But You have given me life everlasting by the love, obedience and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. You have given me this life and everything in it. I pass through The Way of entrance into The Kingdom of God through The Door that is The Truth of Jesus Christ into The Life everlasting.

Lord, mine eyes are not lofty: I do not look down on anybody or any situation. I am not above.

But You have seated me in the Heavenlies with Christ Jesus my Lord. In this world, You have made me a priest and a king. The weapons of my warfare are not carnal, but mighty in Christ Jesus for the pulling down of strongholds, dominions, princes, principalities and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. The gates of hell shall not prevail against the armies of our God and The Light of The Kingdom of God will pierce, penetrate and dispel every darkness and there will no longer be pain, weeping or death.

Lord, I do not exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me: I don’t know everything, in fact, there is so much that I do not know. I am not capable to conduct myself or others in righteous living. I do not know what to do or what I am doing. I am not God. I do not know Your ways or Your thoughts. They are too great for me. I cannot contain them.

But You have given me the power of love and a sound mind in Christ Jesus. I can do all things by the power of the love of Christ in me. You have fitted me to do great things for Your glory and the Kingdom of God. Your will is that none should perish! That All would turn to You and know everlasting life. This I can know :)

Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother, my soul [is] even as a weaned child: I have seen and know the deception of the world, this “Mother Earth”. I fed on it for years. It has sucked me in and all the peoples of Your Creation, all flesh cries for it. But I turn my soul from it, that part of me that is not dependent on the world. I turn from the temporary comforts and pleasures for this dying flesh to the everlasting love and joy of life never-ending through Christ Jesus. The world cannot sustain me, but You can, You will and You do!

Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever:

Come Lord Jesus come! Holy Messiah rise up in Your covenanted people. Recover and restore Your vineyard. Thy Kingdom come! The new Jerusalem! I look forward to meeting You in the Heavens on the day that You call up Your people. With all the angels and saints on that glorious day, with the sound of the trumpet, that Holy Trumpet sounding round the world, even as the trumpets of Joshua at Jericho, that the walls of defense against the dominion of our God, be broken down never to be raised again. Glory to God and AMEN!!
