Disappointment

Good morning Lord!

Thank You God for Your great Glorious love :)

I Hear You this morning speaking and I hear the love with which You speak. Though the word is hard and convicting, I feel the warmth and concern that comfort me.

The reason for dissatisfaction is a sign of spiritual disconnect.

Ephesians 2:10 (KJV)

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

The seed and design of God’s purpose for each of our lives is only revealed in the working out of the good works He has designed us for. In fact, ANY work that is not according to His design is fraught with all kinds of emotional baggage, relational disfunction and even physical distress.

Remember always the fruit of the Holy Spirit. The seed of which is planted in every believer is for an abundant supply and bountiful harvest of spiritual food for self and others.

Be self-aware and aware of those around you. The human body is a huge telegraph system, communicating real-time what is going on in the spirit of yourself and other people.

First of all, you have to be rightly tuned in to God the Father and His will for you. His desire is that you would not perish, but have eternal life with Him.

2 Peter 3:9 (KJV)

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (Repentance is the turning away from your way to God’s way).

You must be saved! All of mankind is born into selfishness and sin. The result of that is death. We are all sinners. Without salvation in and through Christ Jesus, there is no hope. You are forever in your sins and will forever pay the price for them. Dissatisfaction will certainly be the result of trying to work out and repair the effects of sin in your life without God’s help. Whether you are saved or not, your body and emotions betray your motive and grounding.

It is only the Blood of Christ applied that is sufficient to make the payment, conquering death and opening the gate of joy in eternal life. As the sacrifice of Christ is infinite, eternal and perfect, only it can pay the price. Again I say, you must be saved! (and you cannot save yourself).

Secondly, “read the room”. Start in the mirror of your life. See what your face, body language and emotions are communicating. Measure them against the fruit of Holy Spirit listed in Galatians 5:22-23. Then turn to God. As you recognize the fruit of your emotions that are not in right relation to the seed of Holy Spirit in you, apply The Blood! Take the errant thoughts and emotions captive into the obedience of Christ! They are an affront and rebellion before God. Know that the communication of your spirit is evident on your face and in your life.

2 Corinthians 10:5 (KJV)

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Being sure that your salvation is of God and not yourself. That the seed of Holy Spirit is planted in you, not of your own planting.

Isaiah 64:8 (KJV)

But now, O LORD, thou [art] our father; we [are] the clay, and thou our potter; and we all [are] the work of thy hand.

And that being understood, there is the promise…

Philippians 1:6 (KJV)

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform [it] until the day of Jesus Christ:

Recognize and make your confession before The Lord. Whether in gratitude and thanksgiving or sorrow and repentance.

Philippians 4:4-7 (KJV) 4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: [and] again I say, Rejoice. 5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord [is] at hand. 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

You are created in the image of God. Formed and fashioned, fearfully and wonderfully. This is your design and only in it do you find fulfillment and satisfaction.

As the fullness of God is released and utilized in you, you become a tool in His hand for the work He is doing. Specially designed for that specific work. Now, as you look and see using physically eyes with spiritual vision, you are rightly equipped to step into the calling and purpose of God for your life. That Christ and the Spirit of His Holiness moves and operates in the chaos and darkness of this world for the glory and praise of His righteous and holy design. That all things be gathered together with Him in perfection and for eternity.

Finally, there is only one real purpose of God. I say it again, He desires that none perish. The thought that God, the loving Creator, would create mankind for death and destruction is quite strange. Jesus Christ was not sent into this world to destroy and die, He was sent to redeem and live. He came to show mankind the way and will of God, eternal life. Jesus Christ left mankind with two promises and a command .

First, the promises:

  1. He will send the Holy Spirit to believers to comfort, know and do His will.

John 16:7-11 (AMP) 7 “But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor--Counselor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him (the Holy Spirit) to you [to be in close fellowship with you]. 8 “And He, when He comes, will convict the world about [the guilt of] sin [and the need for a Savior], and about righteousness, and about judgment: 9 about sin [and the true nature of it], because they do not believe in Me [and My message]; 10 about righteousness [personal integrity and godly character], because I am going to My Father and you will no longer see Me; 11 about judgment [the certainty of it], because the ruler of this world (Satan) has been judged and condemned.

  1. He will come again to take believers away with Him.

John 14:1-4 (KJV) 1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

Second: the command: “Go (you believers) and make disciples of all men. (Disciples, followers: A people who believe in and receive the truth of the love of God. That they are born into sin and that God The Son, Jesus Christ, came into this world to save, redeem and direct them back to God).

Matthew 28:18-20 (KJV) 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.

Knowing the promises and commands of God are the driving force for every believer. Because they believe, they have a hope that is based on faith in the love of God. Knowing the will of God is the reason for action, again, based on the love of God.

When this foundation is sturdily in place, the resulting picture is one of peace and joy. A visible and deep contentedness. A satisfaction that only comes when a purpose is fully activated and utilized.

Philippians 4:4-9 (KJV) 4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: [and] again I say, Rejoice. 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise, think on these things. 9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Once again....

Ephesians 2:10 (KJV)

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
