Flesh and blood/spirit and life

We battle not against flesh and blood.....

We take no thought of our natural life, for in it are the issues of death, but lean into the spiritual life where death has no hold nor sway. When Jesus was about to be taken by the natural nature of this world in its attempt to triumph and forever enthrone itself in the seat of nature, the world, not understanding that the seat of nature is a grave from which there is no return, He turned His back on the lie of the flesh and the empty promise of life in the span of time given to it saying, “the prince of this world comes, and has nothing in Me”. Fully knowing that His bodily life of flesh was forfeit for the greater life in spirit that lives with God forever. Knowing that the sentence of death by death itself, was the sentence of death to death itself. That death cannot live, only life lives. And Life is only in the Hands of God.

John 10:17-18 (KJV) 17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

Romans 8:34 (KJV)

Who [is] he that condemneth? [It is] Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Matthew 6:25 (KJV) Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
