The Difference Between Job and Work

I do a work….i have a job
As a servant of the Most High, there is only one work. To serve Him and His Will. He desires that NONE would perish. THAT is my work.
2 Peter 3:9 (KJV)
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
My job brings worldly provision for my worldly life. However, for that job to be all the provision the God has for me, it is to be a vehicle for the work I was created for… to bring glory and offering to God.
Ephesians 2:10 (KJV)
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
And there is no greater offering than souls saved and redeemed for eternal life by the life giving blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ, of which I am a recipient and a visible, vocal witness.
Acts 20:24 (KJV)
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
So, glorify God in all that you do. Jesus Christ is eternal life and in Him only. Go to your job and thank God for the provision, but remember the work you have to do. There is a world of darkness that is eating up the creation of God. Be the light that dispels that darkness. Live and testify of the redemption you have in Christ. Let the fruit of your spirit and lips be living water and life to a dry and dying world. It is your reasonable service. You have been redeemed with a price…. The Blood of Christ. Rejoice loudly and visibly of the hope that is in you. Christ alive and Holy Spirit at work.
Our Father! Alive and glorified in the Heavens! Hear our cry and touch this life. As it is in Your Heaven, make it so in this earth, in my life and the lives around me. Deliver us O God! We plead The Blood of the Only Living Sacrifice. Christ Jesus Your Son, our Savior. Amen
