How to Pray

We pray in belief, not for relief.
We pray believing that God is in us. That the prayers we pray are not prayers for relief, but the very words requesting action of God as Holy Spirit leads us. Thanking God for the deliverance and promise fulfilled. They are words that testify of our belief that He is Lord of all. Almighty God. ALL MIGHTY. There is no thing that He is not Lord over. He dwells in us. We are His tabernacle, His dwelling place. He guides us with His eyes. We see flesh and blood, He sees the invisible. He sees the spirit of what is. We see the pain that lasts for a night, but He sees the joy in the morning. We would pray for relief in the moment, not believing and thanking for the salvation of God at the end. He never leaves or forsakes! He is with us always, even to the end of the age.
So rejoice in your trials, God is with you. Pray with thanksgiving, trusting in His promise that you will not be forsaken, that joy will come in the morning, that He is faithful to complete what He started in you, that He is for you and not against you, and if He is for you, what can stand against you? That the weapons formed against you will not prosper, that His promises are Yes and Amen. Yes, you will have tribulations, but He has overcome the world.
