Dependence

Walking across a raging river that flows to a waterfall. The Spirit of God to the current side and man in His Shadow. The Spirit of God breaking the force of the current and creating a safe place of peaceful eddies. The man rests in that peaceful place from one side to the other (Psalm 17). But in the false confidence of the man, forgetting that it is The Spirit of God that provides the peace, the man jumps ahead into the current and is washed away to the great waterfall and its destruction. Or in fear and aware of the clear and present danger, shrinks back and is again swept away to destruction. Both ways, not trusting the love, goodness and power of The Spirit of God, he leaps forward or falls back out of His Provision and Protection, and is carried away to destruction.

Think not that His Arm is too short to reach you, He can always save. Call out to Him while He is near. Surely He will save you.

There is One Way to The Father, Christ Jesus, the Truth, Life and Way. The Open Door from here to There. Stay in the shadow of His love and your deliverance is assured, your place secured for all eternity.
