The First Writer

Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith. Hebrews 12:2.

Jesus Christ is The Holy Writer, The First Conceiver of all things. Without Him nothing is or can be. He is The Word. The First Word. Without The First Word, there are none following. The Beginning. Without which there is no end. No finish. But only The Author can finish. It is He Who puts the final period. The End.

John 1:1-5 (KJV) 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

But is it really the end? Or just the end of one book? Is there another book? Ah yes!!

There is another!! Read in The First Book of the second. The Book of Life. How can you know it except to know the first book.

Hebrews 10:7-10 (KJV) 7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. 8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and [offering] for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure [therein]; which are offered by the law; 9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. 10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once [for all].

Revelation 20:11-15 (KJV) 11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

The Word made flesh that dwelt among us!

John 1:14 (KJV) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

This Writer that writes eternity. Making what is unseen seen! Writing on stone the hard commandments of doing right. Yet writing on the hearts of men the loving promises of being made holy. Out of the abundance of your heart, the mouth speaks.

1 Peter 1:15-16 (KJV) 15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Conversation is words of communication right? Are the words written by man or God? Do we take conversation, meant to be holy, glorifying God, and defile it into  self-exaltation? Using it for our own selfish gain? What is the greater glory? Man redeemed or the winning sports club? Do we take what is started in holiness and divert it satisfy our own desire? Is not holiness that which lives in eternity? Jobs come and go. Cars are new and then junk. Do our conversations only speak of death? Things that perish and pass away?

Did The Writer mean any of that? Or are His Words life?

John 6:68 (KJV)

Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

Jesus Christ is The Author and Finisher of your faith. He starts it and is faithful to complete it. He alone will bring it to full completion. And when the last chapter of your natural life ends and the book closed, the next book, The Book of Life is opened. You better be in it. Your eternal life depends on it.

Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)

But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

What is a greater reward? To have a good life full of things that rot, break and pass away or to have life everlasting? Who is the better writer? You or The One Who started all things with a Word. He Who is The Word. The Author of all creation. The very Author of your own life. On your birthday, did you write “in the beginning”? No, you did not! You had no words. You could not form a letter. It was God Who created you. He knew you before you were born. He knew you in your mother’s womb. He knows you now and He knows the plans He has for you. Read and rejoice now rather than read and weep later. Read The Word of God. The Bible. The only written record humanity has that tells of God’s Holy Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Of His great love and eternal plans for you. Just believe and you will know….

The Writer Wrote it for You.
